In the log-book you can enter details like:
species, sex, hunter, hunt method,
stand, dog, tracks, decoy, point of impact, weights,
distances, gun/bow, scope, ammo, bullet, powder, primer,
20 antler measurements and much more.

To enter information in the logbook, simply click
the appropriate tab icon, click the 'New' button and
start writing. Click 'Save' when
finished.

In
Visual Hunter you can use
BMP or JPG backdrop
images
as maps.
You can buy DRG
maps from map suppliers or scan
paper maps yourself.
On the maps you can place symbols, draw lines and write text.
Visual Hunter comes with 90
ready-made symbols. See
example.
You can use overview
maps and detail maps, and you can make map sequences
with up to 9 individual maps to cover larger areas. If
you georeference the map, Visual Hunter will display
both UTM and lat/long coordinates.

You can plot waypoints and tracks on the map using the
Visual Hunter GPX Manager If you have a gps receiver, you
can record positions in the field and then plot the data on
the map.
(GPX
is an industri standard file format for exchanging GPS
data between GPS applications.)

You need a 3:rd party GPS
software to download data from your GPS unit to
your harddisk and to create a GPX file. Visual
Hunter then reads this file and plots the data on

You can
enhance
your
log-book notes by
attaching photos to them. In Visual Hunter you can use
BMP and JPG pictures to document hunts and animals.

You can view the pictures in different sizes, up to 2048x1536
pixel, landscape or portrait. In addition you can
create slideshows with up to 9 pictures in each. Slideshows can
be linked to other information just like pictures. |

is a complete, independent system

receive
hunting data from
